I've been meaning to share some of my mosaic art projects with you.
The pink tray in the first set of pictures was an old tole tray I purchased at a garage sale for $1 along with a shabby pink plate that had a few chips.
LOL! I never feel guilty painting or breaking damaged pieces.
I don't like the standard color of grout...... so, I tinted it...... PINK!!
There is a story behind the Blue Willow tea pot.
I bought four cups and saucers for my mother for Mother's Day.
When I got them home I discovered the handle was broken on one of the cups and found
a crack in one of the saucers.
What to do???
I wanted to give her a "Set" so, I decided to take the broken cup and saucer and mosaic a silver tea pot.
Then she would have a pretty "Tea Set".
She loves blue and white and loves my mosaic art pieces.
It turned out to be the perfect (imperfect) gift!
Love you, Mom!
I sell or give away most of my work but I do have several more that I will be sharing.
Hope you have enjoyed the photos.

Beautiful all! Love that hobnail pink vase. Thanks so much for visiting me.
Your first photos of the rose china was my mother's pattern and I still have it. Blue and white were her everyday china. Thanks for sharing.
It's all so pretty, but I'm in love with the blue and white. Thank you for sharing this at my Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. Hope to see you again on Monday. Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
Oh, what pretty pieces! I love anything mosaic because I used to do some myself. My parents used to do mosaic work and so naturally, I learned how to do it too. Love the pink tray with the tinted grout and the silver mosaic pot is gorgeous with the teacups! Everything looks lovely. Thank you for sharing this with us and joining me for tea.
Blessings,
Sandi
Your tea set in blue and white is so pretty. I have a silver teapot but it's still in very good shape. A mosaic one appeals to me too very much. I like the pink tray too. My parents used to do that kind of work and so I learned too. It's been years since I've done any mosaic work though. Thank you for coming to tea and sharing these beautiful pieces with us.
Blessings,
Sandi
