Photos of the handmade Altered Journal I made for my daughter's birthday.
These are photos of the matching set of altered paper gift boxes I made to match her journal. I filled each with a special gift for her birthday.
I wanted to make her something special. Something I created with her in mind. I used vintage papers, ephemera, sheet music, vintage lace and old buttons. I added paper roses, hand dyed fibers, ribbon, faux pearls, glitter and a little birds nest with tiny eggs. Tooooooo cute! I finished by hand stamping a few words and bird images here and there. I thought they made a lovely gift.
I hope she loved them as much as I loved making them for her.
I love you.... sis. MOM

These are beautifully altered items. Very feminine and creatively done. I can see the love you put into these, for your daughter, who is certainly "So Lovely"! A beautiful young woman. Her profession is something to applaud, as more people are becoming more desperate for the holistic approach to their health care.
Blessings for the day,
Marianne
Hello. Your daughter must be really proud of her mum. The boxes are so gorgeous.
