Hallway Make Over
I am always bringing home more "stuff"! I love all my treasures but am forever running out of places to put things.
I have to get creative these days and utilize every inch of space. My long "bare" hallway seemed like the perfect space for a make-over.
I purchased the large shelf a long time ago and several times almost got rid of it. I painted it a creamy shade of white and decoupaged some pink wall paper roses to both the sides and back. It turned out lovely and it's perfect for displaying some of my vintage china and other collectibles.
I bought the little dresser for $26. I painted it the same creamy white as the shelf and added two wooden appliques to the front. Using vintage wall paper.... I decoupaged the insides of the drawers and added little white porcelain knobs. Now it's adorable and the perfect size for my hallway.
I found the mirror and small shelf at the flea market a few years ago. They both have awesome carved swags and roses on the front. I painted the little shelf but decided to leave the mirror in it's original condition.
Wow! What you can do with a small space.

So very beautiful. I love it.
You did a great job on the shelf and everything else. Very beautiful. I love the mirror too. Take care, Darlene
love the details! well done! xoox
Oh, my! Both pieces are gorgeous! I love the wooden appliques on the dresser... they add just the right touch. I think you made the perfect decision to leave the mirror alone; it really looks stunning as is.
And I love your display pieces, too--especially the clocks!♥
