Today is my Anniversary and my sweet Hubby sent me two dozen roses!
They are gorgeous! What a wonderful surprise.
I love him so much and would marry him all over again.
My wedding day was the most special day of my life (other than the birth of my children).
I married my best friend, my Romeo and my hero.
After all these years..... he still gets to me.
Maybe that's why I love and collect old wedding mementos.
The wedding photo.... from the 1930's.... was salvaged from a broken, discarded frame. The glass had broken and it was in the trash. I loved the picture.... even without a frame. Isn't she beautiful!
I found this fabulous 1930's wedding dress last week at my favorite antiques store "The White Rabbit".
Floor length and made of lace, satin and tulle. It's absolutely gorgeous!
I love the lace bodice and the layers of pink satin ruffles. It's lined with pink satin and has a built in tulle petticoat. It's just to die for!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Elizabeth

♥Happy Anniversary!♥ What beautiful roses!
I love the 1930s wedding dress and the photo of the poor, discarded bride.: ( I think it would be fun for you to invent a life for "Great-Aunt Helen", including the loving family she left behind!
