God Bless America!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I don't usually decorate for the 4th of July.....  but, this year I have something wonderful to celebrate.
Some of you may know my mother has been ill and in the hospital.  She was diagnosed with possible bladder cancer and we have been waiting for biopsy results.
We got the news today.......  no cancer!!!  Happy tears!
Her infection is finally gone and hopefully with phys therapy and regular follow ups she will continue to improve.
We will be getting together this weekend and I wanted everything to look pretty and festive.
Only having a few days to pull things together.....  I got out my craft supplies.... including my trusty hot glue gun and got busy.  With a few Goodwill finds (the old Mason Jars and silver tray), scraps of fabric and a little paint I created some wonderful (and cheap) decorations.
I love anything handmade!  With no real plan....  I think everything came out great.

Happy 4th of July!
and God Bless
Elizabeth
