By now...... everyone knows that I am crazy for vintage linens.
They are my weakness...... or maybe a sickness. I become weak in the knees when I come across an extraordinary piece or just daffy when finding the perfectly "imperfect" antique quilt or pillow.
I look for them everywhere I go.
I love antique quilts, bed linens and boudoir pillows. They are piled high on every bed in the house.
I use vintage table linens all the time. They are so beautiful and can transform the look and feel of a space.
It must stem from learning to sew as a child. I could create anything I wanted with a piece of fabric, a needle and thread. I would cut pictures from magazines for inspiration. Thus my love for beautiful fabric and needle work.
The pink ruffled throw is a new piece that looks lovely with my vintage pieces.
Thought I would share some of my latest finds.
Enjoy!

I can totally relate. Collecting vintage linens is my passion and your collection is very beautiful.
I love linens, too. I wish you could see my friend's collection that we are sorting through at her house. She is passing several pieces along to her daughter. I love them, too! xo Diana
Hello Elizabeth,
I have been sewing and turning my spare room into my pink and white rose room! I am in my glory! Little bit by little bit it will be perfect. I have asked the Lord for a Chic and Shabby look. I am on my way :)
Your love for vintage and all things beautiful is seen in your blog and all your treasures you share. My hubby read your story the other night and he was so touched.
Blessings, Roxy
Love this vintage look! So pretty! Thanks for sharing at All Things Pretty!
Beautiful, beautiful treasures! I love the first two pillows the best :)

I like to think of it as an act of conservation. It's not feeding a habit, it's acquiring a lost treasure and conserving it for a future aficionado of vintage textiles. At least that my story and I'm sticking to it. Happy Pink Saturday!
Hello sweetie! What a gorgeous post! Hugs and sparkles,
Olivia
I definitely share your love of vintage linens! I have so many that have been passed down to me -- they each have a memory attached! Love the cross-stitch tablecloth and napkins, and the white with lace panels looks just like a tablecloth I have -- I use it with a red cloth underneath for Christmas! Such a sweet pin cushion too!
What beautiful linens. When I see these for sale in thrift store, I always think wonder about the dear person that spent hours making these treasures. Thanks for sharing.
You have collected some exquisite pieces! Love finding vintage linens too - it is nice to know we're caring for these treasures as someone once may have. I am delighted you shared with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
Your vintage treasures are making me swoon. It is wonderful that you preserve these beautiful pieces. Blessings...
Pretty pillows, love the ruffles. Your home looks like it would be a vintage fairytale house with all the beautiful decorating!
