Wallpaper Roses - A Rare Treasure

 Vintage Wallpaper Chest

I am a big collector and have many collections.
My style is romantic shabby chic.  I always gravitate towards roses and of course......  the color pink.
I love to go Junkin!  I live for the thrill of the hunt and can hardly wait till I discover my next "greatest" find.
This year was fruitful and I found many wonderful things.
They are all my "favorite" but sometimes you find a rare treasure.
This old wallpaper chest is one of them.  It is absolutely gorgeous!  I love the huge cabbage roses and how the paper has yellowed over time.  Aged to perfection and.....  so imperfectly....  perfect.
I placed it in my crafts studio and use it to store my best and most cherished antique laces.
I would love to know what your favorite find this year was.

Have a wonderful week.
Blessings.
Elizabeth

Dear Friend, I must agree with you this little chest is amazing!
You so deserve it because you will take good care of it.
I think the best treasure I found this last year was two glass vintage jars with a silver top. The silver is not the real thing, but they look so pretty!
I want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas!
Have a Blessed Day!

Absolutely gorgeous! I just adore that chest! I would have to say that my find of the year was a little french antique desk and a painted three panel french mirror which I have sat on it :) It's so hard to find french furniture where I live! I love looking at photos of your beautiful home! Merry Christmas!

Oh wow! I spotted this out of the corner of my eye while I was stoppin' by for a visual feast visit...I thought it looked familiar...I was so thrilled to find that you loved it sooo much Elizabeth! Made my heart (and face) smile *winks* If I find any more of them ..and I do from time to time. I'll let you know first. Vanna
