More is More.... my pillow addiction

The Love Seat

The large Sofa

In my house......  more is more!  I LOVE pillows!  As many as you can pile on.  LOL....  it drives my husband crazy.

I wanted to make a group of coordinating pillows for the living room.  I love pink but have painted the room a soft yellow with creamy white trim.  I had to figure out how to bring in my all time favorite color....  pink!

I didn't have any "large" pieces of  fabric so..... I decided to take a collection of smaller pieces that looked good together and see what I could do with them.  I had some pink striped ticking, a large floral print and several vintage needle point pieces.  I sewed all the pieces together and this is what I came up with.

My room wouldn't be complete without "roses"!  I had an old pink silk pillow I just love...  but.... the silk on the front was all snagged up.  I decided to take silk roses and hot glue them all over the front.  I just love it!

Oh!.....  and you might recognize the large round pillow in the first photo.....  it's Rachel Ashwell ~ Simply Shabby Chic!  It complemented the ones I made beautifully!

It's all coming together.

Your pillows are just gorgeous. I love them and think they add so much to any setting. I think all hubbys roll their eyes over pillows..unless it is the one under their head! xo Diana

I love pillows, too! I also have the RASC round pillow! How fun you made your own pillows! They look so cute on your couch.

Love all of your pillows!!They look great!! I am definitely a More is More gal too. My hubby hates all the pillows on the sofa as he has no idea what to do with them when he has to lay down and watch TV!!!

So happy to meet someone who has as big of a pillow addiction as I do. I have 11 of them on my bed right now. My hubby too can't understand why I need so many pillows. I usually 5 on the sofa and only two on the love seat. Every night hubby just smiles as he tosses them off. lol! I love all of yours. You did a fantastic job. That rose one, WOW!
