A Vintage Halloween ~ Marketplace Monday

Fall is among us!
The leaves on the trees are turning shades of red and gold and the mums are in full bloom.
Pumpkins have been harvested and the air is crisp and cool.
"Halloween" displays are popping up all over town and that spooky night will soon be here.
These Halloween themed gift tags are perfect for Fall and Halloween displays!
The perfect accent on a gift.... wrapped in brown Kraft paper and vintage lace.
They make great party favors! and make the perfect Trick or Treat give away.
These adorable gift tags are now available in my Etsy shop.

Cotton Candy ~ Vintage Chic

Vintage Hats

I LOVE vintage hats from the 1940's and 50's.
I have a large collection and thought I would share a few of my fav's.
The tulle hat in the first set of photos reminds me of "cotton candy"!  Lots of pink fluffy swirls....  covered with delicate pink netting and little pink velvet bows.
The second hat is also made of tulle.  Layers and layers of pink tulle ruffles.   Pink tulle ruffles!!!!  What more could a girl ask for!
The third hat is the oldest.  It's just gorgeous!  Lots of pink organdy pleats, a pink & green velvet band with a bow and white roses.  Divine!
I just love them!

Vintage Cabbage Rose Drapes

I just purchased these fabulous vintage drapes.
They are so beautiful!!  I LOVE the huge pink roses.
So awesome!  They are floor length, lined....  with no damage or fading.
What a find!  $85.00 for the pair.

Hope everyone is having a great week!
The weather has been so lovely here!  It's sunny and a pleasant 85 degrees
Many of my plants and flowers have recovered from the hot, hot summer temps and are in full bloom!  Yeah!

Paper Art Doll ~ Pink Ballerina

Paper Art Doll ~ Paper Art Doll

I love the ballet and have been collecting vintage ballet dresses, tutus, Pointe shoes, etc for years.
I made this pretty Ballerina art doll to grace my collections.
I used an art stamp to create her.  I scanned it.... then digitally enlarged it.  I used my digital "paint brushes" to add color.
She is made of heavy cardstock and embellished with lots of glass glitter.
She has fully articulated arms and legs.
Her dress is made with layers of pink tulle, pink lace ribbons and pink paper roses.
She has glittered roses in her hair and a single rose in her hand.
She is so pretty!  I love her.
