Easter Wreath
Home Sweet Home.
I love a welcoming front door...... especially for the holidays.
I made this cute Easter wreath using vintage flowers and little wooden eggs.
I found the wire base at the crafts store several years ago. It has a rusted patina and six little coiled egg holders. I painted the little wooden eggs with craft paint. After letting them dry thoroughly.... I scuffed them up a bit with sand paper to give them an aged look..... then hot glued them into the egg holders. I used simple silk flowers from the crafts store and added vintage velvet pansies. I found the velvet pansies many years ago at the flea market. They are so soft and sweet. Just perfect for my wreath.
I love how it turned out! So shabby chic.
Happy Easter!
